Kemin will introduce three feline health supplements under the RESOURCES brand at the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association's annual conference on August 24-27 in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
These products, which include Feline Urinary Tract Support, Feline Immune System Support and Protegrity GI, will now be available as highly palatable chews.
"Our team has observed, both in trials and feeding at home, that the pill or capsule delivery form for feline supplements just isn't well accepted by the animal," said Dr. Andrew Yersin, president of the companion animal health division at Kemin. "Our goal in reformulating these products was twofold - provide the same proven actives that promote feline health and to improve acceptability by the pet, which then provides added convenience for the pet parent."
In addition, Kemin will sponsor a breakfast lecture on August 26 at the conference at 7 a.m. The presentation will feature Dr. Basko presenting, "A Complementary Approach to Feline Health and Wellbeing." Dr. Basko will discuss natural herbs and ingredients that can assist in managing common immune system and urinary tract challenges in felines.
