FSI coupon activity up 8% in 2009

Free standing insert (FSI) coupon activity increased 8.0% during 2009, according to Marx Promotion Intelligence. Petfood was a large part of the increased activity, making three top 10 lists of the coupon activity.
Petfood was listed sixth for new product introductions and second for coupons issued. For individual retailers, PetsMart was ranked second behind Target for total FSI pages circulated.
