Cesar Canine Cuisine partners with Pandora for holiday radio station

Pet lovers can listen to CESAR's playlist of songs during the holidays on Pandora radio.
Pet food brand Cesar Canine Cuisine is partnering with Pandora for the holidays to create a branded radio station for people to celebrate the ones they love, including their pets.
Listeners can connect to the online radio station via www.pandora.com/cesar and via a QR code on promotional materials at pet retailers, as well as through the company's website, Facebook page and Twitter. The station will be available through January 1, 2012.
Cesar brand and Pandora worked together to choose a list of uplifting songs that exemplify the Cesar brand’s personality. Approximately a dozen of these songs were featured in previous Cesar Canine Cuisine television commercials, including tracks from artists like Jason Mraz, Train and Jewel.
“We’re thrilled to bring such an innovative option to the Cesar brand,” said Tierney Monaco, director, Cesar brand. “We thought a playlist of songs to enjoy with loved ones would be an exciting way to give back to our supportive consumers."

Cesar Canine Cuisine hosts contest to create new dog food flavors

Cesar Canine Cuisine is hosting a contest for consumers to create and choose the next flavors of its Sunrise breakfast and Original Pate dog foods.
Consumers can go to Cesar's website and enter the virtual kitchen, where they can mix ingredients for their petfood recipe. Pet care experts will sample the trial recipes to determine the top four submissions. Among these finalists, consumers will vote on two winning final dishes to be manufactured and distributed for sale on store shelves.
"As the makers of Cesar Canine Cuisine, we know dog lovers want to provide the very best for their canine companions," said Tierney Monaco, brand director for Cesar Canine Cuisine. "So, it seems only natural to ask pet owners what flavor combinations they think their dogs would absolutely love."

Cesar launches petfood with dog newspaper

To celebrate the release of its newest product line Cesar Sunrise, a breakfast-flavored petfood line for small dogs, Cesar Canine Cuisine developed The West Highland Herald newspaper to go along with the new pet breakfast line, according to a press release from the company. Created to portray the world from a small dog’s point of view, the first edition of The West Highland Herald pertains to dogs.
“Our research indicates that breakfast time can be a bonding experience for small dogs and their owners,” said Anne Herrington, director of marketing for Cesar. “What better way to show your small dog you love them, then to offer a special breakfast meal prepared exclusively for them?”
The three flavors of Cesar Sunrise are Grilled Steak & Eggs, Smoked Bacon & Egg, and Chicken & Cheddar Cheese Soufflé.
Free copies of The West Highland Herald will be available in morning commuter areas, pet stores and breakfast-related establishments in eight cities in the USA from March 30 through April 5, 2009.
